The elegant bride feels comfortable with herself and her surroundings, eludes self-confidence and has a timeless sense of style.  She no longer relies upon the traditional perception of elegance.  The twenty-first century bride understands that true elegance is not bought, but rather being true to herself and expressing that in a timeless sense of style.

Introducing Lisa Gowing an Australian designer who specialized in high-end fashion with a penchant for timeless couture classics.  She has shown her bridal collection for the first time in 2001 at the NY Bridal Market with success.  Her collections were shown for many seasons and sold to Neiman Marcus along with several other high-end retailers across the US.

This ethereal silk chiffon gown is hand made in Australia and expertly cut using only original couture techniques from luxurious breathtaking silk.  The one shoulder gown has hand ruched bodice with a flowing skirt and a sweeping train. Inspired by a gown that Grace Kelly wore from the movie To Catch a Thief.

This gown has been professional preserved after its single use by Madame Paulette in NYC.  It currently sits in its original preserved box along with a silk tulle veil which I used as a train.
